my infibeam PI

Now that I have some free time, I’ve been able to relax a bit. After spending quality time with my kid and managing his playgroup admission, I decided to indulge my love for reading. That’s when I had a strong realization: I simply cannot replace the joy of reading physical books with PDFs and documents on an LCD screen. Determined to find a solution that would let me enjoy my book collection and articles in a more book-like format—something I could carry, hold, and read anywhere—I began exploring my options. While I was aware of Amazon’s Kindle, a little research led me to discover an equally good and much more affordable alternative in the Indian market: the Infibeam Pi e-reader. I ordered it, and though there were some delivery delays, it finally arrived. While it lacks features like an in-built dictionary, text-to-speech capability, and a touchscreen, it fulfills my basic reading needs beautifully. Now, with the monsoon season here and the skies cloudy, it’s such a pleasure to sit in the garden overlooking the swimming pool in my apartment complex and lose myself in a good book.
