its raining

i am writing on rain in kolhapur...but yet to finish.. this is place holder for the day in july when its raining out side..

Other day I had been at frnds party as one of my frnd travelled to pune after months he joined in Bangalore Company, we had enough head count to discuss diverse and different topics. Incidentally one of my colleague from university have started its own small firm and working on projects where he mentioned he is facing some technical issues and if he could resolve those it would be great help for him to reduce execution and test time . Off course this was something to accelerate execution cycle to reduce cost and improve productivity.

Eventually things went to hardcore technical discussions and few of us started on how things can be tackled with technological disruption and so on, well what I understood is my first colleague perhaps was not really keen in to take discussion in direction it actually went. He perhaps was thinking somewhere back of his mind on some partner who will understand his problem and provide service and support to get it done in his own terms and conditions, and it just happen he got pronounced this across the table while thinking loudly.

Something to understand on how an entrepreneur looks at problem when it comes to actual business with necessity to think differently in order to improve growth and productivity. Rest of the crowd was much in to technical expertise roles and jumped in to kind of approach which actually might have not helped the guy to address the problem.

Bandh's not again

Just before decade there was time when Indian political parties were frequently putting social life forcibly on halt with goons on road for declared “Bandhs”, time when people and media reacted unanimously and made such politically motivated BANDH'S unaccepted. Though today’s protest I think was required but it should be kind of peaceful without damaging public property and letting ppl to make own choice in protest.
government should do something to lower the prices. And oppositions should do something in parliament to put government on toes and should not get idea that ppl have started accepting such BANDH'S again

both are innocent, people who do injustice, corruption and all bad things in society and people who suffer and tolerate all this, what they do is just follow culture. what really needs to be changed is culture we follow. and to change culture don't see kind of such movements and leadership now . In Maharashtra (being maharastrian so the example) there is rich tradition of movements but now there is no one to look upon in state. at national level its long gap since mahtama Gandhi.( i personally admire and feel Rajiv Gandhi one who initiated movement for technology advancement and did efforts for the days we are in now)

The Selfish Gene: 30th Anniversary
brain is slave of genes , gene stores brain's foot prints for superior generations to build. now brain is trained to create illusions to satisfactions on feelings and experiences. perhaps against the basic instructions provided by genes. now if u wont follow instructions those are to execute to support your existence then perhaps you are challenging your own existence itself. in zoology there are few characteristics you can abstract living things and those are like birth , growth, reproductions, death etc. missing one of these wont claim your identity of being living thing. biologically inability to perceive child is perhaps decision of genes? brain gets indulge in sex to have pleasure but its finally genes who will decide if you will transfer yourself in next generations or not. in race perhaps gene will decide to cease your existence further.and perhaps replace brain with something to form different mechanism to produce superior generations ? "
Dynamics of Software Development
I read this book as one of manager had suggested cpl years back . there is lot of implicit subjective insides I am processing after this read. you tend to overlook some things in software development assuming those are obvious and you cant avoid it or may be thinking your leadership will take care of it,Jim has discussed as how such things can be handled in effective way to get things done in right way,sometimes in a ill motivated team and highly political environment. Book discusses some specific experiences jim had while executing challenging project in MS , one can tailor those situation by applying specific situational parameters to make effective decisions on complex projects those are also critical to competitive market from business perspective. one might have or I am sure everyone who have executed or in role of PM has similar kinda of experiences but to the certain possible extent transferring those in tangible and mensurable items and spreading those across the book in most logical way is something about it. I am thankful to my manager who had suggested this years back.

my infibeam PI

Now since I have got some time to freak out, After spending some time with my kid and his play group admission , I turned out to fulfill my reading appetite,and then one thing I realized again and this time strongly that I can not replace my reading hard copy books habit with bunch of PDF's and DOC's on my LCD monitor. so I started looking for options that could help me to read my book collections plus articles just like book which i can carry , hold and read wherever I want. Well I was aware of amazons kindle but then after little search I found equally good option in Indian market almost in half of cost that is infibeam PI the Ereader. I ordered it and with some delayed delivery I got it. though it doesn't have in built dictionary support, text to speech reader and touch screen facility, I have resolved my basic reading need. now since monsoon is here and climate is cloudy its fun and pleasure to get in to garden just in front of swimming pool in my society apartment and enjoy reading.

Adoption & usage of new technologies are coupled with social and cultural aspects. What is the Indian market’s potential to replicate mobile phones story for emerging new technologies we are expecting tomorrow. Well not tomorrow, for that matter in past also how many Indian universities, research and educational institute have given thought to modify PC technology to make its usage more effectively in rural part of India?

Technology is to be driven by needs within to bring the change to improve life equally as passion and vision to bring change drives technology. Is originality in vision to improve Indian life’s standard is what something we missing and blindly adopting technology development for someone else’s need? action to create supportive environment to cultivate innovative changes in day to day life is what missing from leadership at all level today , for example traffic regulation department I really doubt how much time and efforts senior officers and leaders put to improve bad traffic situations in many of cities today ? pulling ppl in to jobs and allow them to function discretely for whatever reasons without adding any value in to service they provide till they retire is what something leadership much bother today it seems.

I wonder if today’s leadership, in positive terms creates a sort of lobbies to get support from all levels in government and society to improve common man’s life, today we see lobbies are created to protect unlawful, antisocial and personal interests using governments money and power, but that’s not the point I am trying to make here. What I am trying to understand here is, what is required to be done at local level to change overall psyche to acquire leadership to lead and establish original thought process to improve billions of life in their own local context and at the same time connect them globally and collectively?

One of use case is I have worked with well-known multinational companies in my carrier, while performing my duties I have undergone many training on different management and cultural awareness programs and subjects designed from global team perspectives .Also being a technical person always in to understanding of problems statements for different business /financial and social model to provide solutions for those.

Training programs are good in rooms, they are really good. You come out of these rooms you are in real world where the cultural and social dynamics you deal with is local and little different, but to conference calls you go in with global team awareness.

Same with when you deal with technical problems to provide solutions .You have well defined structural and infrastructural patterns ready to learn, use and to support underlying structural/ infrastructural design. But you have to put efforts to understand business process/work-flow and transform those in bits and bytes and in to if –then-else’s. Somehow I don’t feel this allows you to work innovatively in natural way. You study functional aspect from defined requirements perspective and that’s one way to look at problem statement. Keeping rest of influential parameters in isolation can restrict one to provide more valuable innovative solution…. For example social networking could be one of influential parameters to be considered to provide more valuable solutions for defined problem. Understanding of social dynamics, unique to problem could be equally important; at the same time you need to see how you can connect those in global context to model problem more effectively.

I think to work innovatively to provide required effective solutions, one needs to be enough flexible and can extend approach in predictive manner to understand unidentified, implicitly inherited attributes of problems by painting its complexity on little broad canvas.
